Customizable Mouth Trays: Easy And Effective

The second kind of customizable mouth trays is created completely in the privacy of your own home. You simply use what is provided in the tooth whitening kit you have to purchase. There are two trays, one for the top teeth and one for the bottom, that are made of thermoplastic and will fit around anyone's teeth. These are usually referred to as „boil and bite” teeth trays. This is because you place the trays in hot water until the plastic becomes soft and pliable. Then you put them in your mouth and, using your lips, tongue and fingers, press it to your teeth. It will then form around your teeth, giving you a custom made tray.

It must be stated that customizable mouth trays are the best and most effective method of applying whitening gel. They stay where they are put and keep the gel right by your teeth. Also, there is very little spillage when the correct amount of gel is placed in the trays.
